Stay tuned for pictures of student artwork! Portfolios are finished and new artwork will begin! October will bring abstract artwork for 6th graders, Roman Mosaic creations for 7th graders, and 8th graders will be using oil pastels to create Impressionist self portraits.
Every grade just finished a collaborative piece of artwork to study the Principles of Design. Today I asked them whether or not they agreed with the following statement. "All Art is made up of the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design." We had a wonderful discussion in each class and lots of mixed opinions.
