7th grade students at WKMS have almost finished their Powerful Portrait creations. Using only POWERFUL words to create value using pen and ink, my students have successfully portrayed themselves in a very unique way. *UPDATED 1/29. Look closely at the amount of detail put into this work.

My 8th grade artists impress me every year! They are creating impressionist style self portraits using oil pastels. More to come! 

POWERFUL Portraits

I taught this lesson at the high school level and once again my middle school artists exceeded my expectations! They chose words that expressed their personalities and created value by writing them over and over...and over. :)
