Strange? Wacky? Dreamlike? FINAL SURREALIST PIECES

"SURREALISM IN YOUR EYES"

You saw the rough draft collages. Look at what they turned into. I think I have some young Salvador Dali's in my classroom. The students used a variety of materials to create these masterpieces such as chalk pastel, markers, colored pencils, and drawing pencils. They learned how to shade, stipple, mix, and more!

*I'm still having issues rotating some images. I apologize.

LOVE these 6th Grade Self Portraits!!! You will too!

MODIGLIANI SELF PORTRAITS - 6th Grade

My 6th grade students studied Amadeo Modigliani and his distorted portraits (elongated necks, tilted heads, hollow eyes, etc.). I could not be happier with the finished products! They are definitely worth showing off! Show everyone! :)

*Sorry about the horizontal orientation. I have yet to find the option for rotating images on this blog. A slight tilt of your head will work.
